Indonesia has vast coal deposits that are currently untapped because of lack of infrastructure. Integrated infrastructure is cost-efficient way to transport large volumes of coal. It also means improved production flexibility, consistency in delivery schedule and increased economic activity.

Furthermore, there are only about 20,000 inhabitants in the area covering the mine and port. In the long-term, more people will move and start living in the region because of infrastructure development. Jobs and economic activity created by the project has the potential to transform the economy of East Kalimantan. We believe that infrastructure does more than just connect the mines to the market; it connects people to employment opportunities and creates robust local economies that can reach their full growth potential.
